Weekend Parties in Madrid

Independance Club has got your weekend covered with back-to-back events this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (1/28-1/30).  Independance is one of Madrid’s best alternatives to the usual mix of pop, Spanish pop and electro that you find at most other late-night clubs.  This week they kick it off on Thursday with their “New Indie Night”, featuring a mix of DJs who will be throwing down the latest music in the indie-rock scene.  This is followed by Friday’s “Flower Power Party” that promises to bring back the spirit of the 60s and 70s, spinning the best music from that  period.  The weekend continues on Saturday with the “Arctic Monkeys Pre-Party”. Experience the music of the Arctic Monkeys before they make their way to Palacio Vistalegre on the 5th of February.

If you get there on Thursday before 2:30 a.m. two drinks are included in the 10 euros cover charge. If you arrive after 2:30 a.m. one drink is included with the cover. Don’t forget this is a late night spot so their doors don’t open until 12:00 a.m.  For more info check out their webpage.
