Enjoy the Park, Beware of the Bushes…

As nice as the water looks, you can’t jump in. For that you have to wait until the 28th of May when all of the municipal pools open – we’ll keep you posted.

Until then, don’t fret – you still have the entire Retiro to keep yourself entertained. From drinks on a blanket with friends to row boats on the lake to a walk meandering through the shaded paths – the Retiro has a little something for everyone.

By the way, don’t wander too far off the paths because sometimes people are doing strange things in the bushes. Actually, it really isn’t that strange – it’s only sex, but it’s strange that people choose the woods when soft, comfy beds are so easy to come by. Hmmm, sounds like the makings of an investigative report, no?

Oh ya, the bucolic park in all its splendor! Also not to be missed is the variety of affordable cafes and restaurants. The massive weekly drum circle (Saturday and Sunday) around the monument pictured above is also good for people watching.
