Tempo Club: La Mongoose Band

It’s hard to define La Mongoose Band when you hear a few of their songs for the first time. Is it jazz, funk, soul? The answer is that it’s all those genres, which is what you should expect to hear on Friday April 30th at Tempo Club. This eclectic band is made up of nine musicians whose main goal is to get everyone grooving. Taking their inspiration from thirty years of American black music, they have a great hold on soul, jazz and funk—just listen to the great WahWah Co on their website. They’ve been playing in many of Madrid’s well known music bars and halls and now they’re stopping at Tempo, don’t miss it! The show starts at 23:00 p.m. with an entrance of five euros.
