How long have you been in Spain?
Just over a year

What were your motivations for teaching English?  
Initially, because I wanted and needed a job which was not mind numbingly boring.

Did you receive TEFL certification before you began and where? ??Can you describe your experiences teaching English in Madrid?  
Received the TEFL at TTMadrid – I did not teach in Madrid apart from the Teacher training which was  part of the course.

What do you like about the city you have chosen? ??What do you annoys you about the city you live in now ?

What we love about living in Tenerife is the way of life, the climate and the fact that the cost of living is much cheaper than England
The only thing that has annoyed us whilst we have been here are: The banks, the lack of, or should I say the loss of, post, and Telefonica.

Do you have any advice for aspiring teachers and adventure seekers who are thinking about Spain as an option ?

If you have the opportunity to experience something different – then do it  – don’t live to regret not doing something.

Do you have any suggestions for newcomers to Madrid who are looking to have a good time?

Hmm..   let me think now……… don’t go drinking in Madrid til 4in the morning  unless you  have no commitments for the rest of the week……….
