Many people know about la Rioja, Spain’s famous wine region, but did you also know that there are many great wines grown in the community of Madrid? During the next few days, the Semana Del Vino de Madrid (Madrid Wine Week) is helping locals and tourists alike re-discover the wines grown in Madrid’s own back yard. Now through November 24th, this event will feature lectures on organic wines, wine tourism and other activities and will take place at the Centro Cultural Conde Duque.
The event will feature 14 wineries as well as 34 featured caterers all that come from local venues. Part of what makes this event special is that it takes place in the Conde Duque neighborhood, known as the more sophisticated area of the larger district of Malasaña. Attending an event like this will allow you to see Madrid at its best, in a friendly and fun atmosphere.
