For some people Sundays are a day of rest and going to
church, but for the legions of club-heads here in Madrid it’s prime party time. Every Sunday
afternoon, a faithful congregation of party enthusiasts comes to Macumba to
experience the revered Space of Sound (SPS).

When you enter SPS, it’s a surreal land of musical anarchy. The
resident Djs serve up irresistible beats that keep the revelers dancing to the very end.

The crowd is as eclectic as the DJs you‘ll find everyone
from glamazon transvestites to students and investment bankers. SPS is more than just great music and groovy people;
however, it is designed to be an experience. The dancers adorn themselves in
theatrical costumes and, aided by 80,000-watt light system, provide a spectacle
as they dance on stage and podiums, and swirl around poles.

Space of Sound is a mandatory stop for any true clubber. The
music, people and the spectacle have earned them a legion of followers, who
believe that on the seventh day thou shalt party!
