Shopping Madrid: Antigua Casa Talavera

Having opened 120 years ago, Antigua Casa Talavera is known to be the first Spanish ceramic studio. The pieces here range from decorative to practical: vases, coffee sets, plates, ceramic tiles, murals, reproductions of museum items and more.  The exterior with its tile facade is just the beginning. Open the door and you’ll walk into a cave filled with ceramics. If pottery is your thing –  they have pieces that come from all over Spain.
