Although El Tintero is a small, clean shop just off the Plaza of Chueca, it swaggers with lots of attitude—thanks to the ironic and humorous T-shirts on sale here. Beneath a large, burgundy awning, an attractive window display will initially catch your eye from the street. Colorful watering cans and plants are aligned in a neat arrangement, while above the displayed T-shirts declare entertaining statements to passersby and provide for delightful window-shopping. Yet take the time to enter the intimate and bright space of the shop. Its playful atmosphere—one statement orange wall, lighthearted paintings, and dark wood floors and crisp white shelves to offset the vivid colors of the shirts—will make you feel at home while browsing through the creative tops and their humorous sayings.
Folded, hung, and rolled, the store presents a multicolored array of T-shirts and tank tops for both adults and children. In the price range of 15-32 euros per top, the shirts make ideal gift picks for the price-savvy and creative shopper. With original drawings and playful phrases that feature comedy and irony, you will find innovative ideas and humor suitable for all ages.
