Scorsese’s “Shutter Island” Opens in Madrid

Whenever a new Martin Scorsese film comes out you can almost see a “quality guaranteed” sticker on the poster. So good news: after The Aviator and The Departed he is reuniting with Leonardo DiCaprio for the suspense thriller Shutter Island. DiCaprio plays a self-assured U.S Marshall who slowly begins losing his mind after being sent to investigate the disappearance of an escaped mental patient from an isolated sanatorium. He is joined by seasoned talents Ben Kingsley and Max Von Sydow in this much awaited thriller that will hopefully combine quality filmmaking with popcorn entertainment. Watch the film in its original language starting next Friday, February 19th, at the excellent Yelmo Cines Ideal.
