Reina Bruja Night Club – Representing Big-City Madrid

This Joint Is So Classy You Don’t Have To Bring Your Own Toilet Paper!
If you’ve ever been so bored that you’ve found yourself staring at your aquarium wondering what it would be like to be inside, you may want to check out the new late-night discoteca in town, the Reina Bruja. In the best way possible, it may actually give you some insight into that aquarium.
Decorated by architect Tomás Alía, the club boasts an aesthetic appeal not easily matched. Designed in the shape of a large rectangular room, lined with giant beams that periodically change color, and, therefore, the mood of the club as well. The Reina Bruja dominates in sleek modernity and expert lighting that clubs in major cities are known for.
Though somewhat expensive (6 for beers, 8 for cocktails), it won’t break your wallet any more than the average discoteca in Madrid. Prices assure prompt service, personal space, and impeccably clean bathrooms.
The music is meant for dancing, and as the night progresses the style moves from pop, R&B and reggaeton to more house and techno-based beats.
Alongside the hired and scantily clad dancers, a small stage is available for those keen on showing off their newly-developed dance skills (or newly-developed drunken confidence).
Of note are the mirrored walls, good ventilation, leather couches and late-night laser beams. Something can be found for most every type as is reflected in the variety of the crowd. One common thread is that everyone, from pijo to indie kid to a member of the mature working crowd appears to enjoy themselves. Best of all, you can leave home the spare roll of toilet paper you’ve become accustomed to taking along – you won’t need it here.
