This store functions as a sort of anti-Ikea. Instead of funneling you through a one-way, high-pressure, consumer track, they invite you to browse at your leisure, chose from hundreds of types of white ceramic items, and then sit down and paint them yourself. As you do so, they’ll serve you complimentary tea or coffee and two days later your pieces are baked and ready to be taken home.
