So you’re in Madrid for New Years Eve and need to find the perfect party to attend. Well, MAP has done a little homework  and here are some of the top party spots to ring in the New Year. These parties happen after eating the obligatory twelve grapes in Sol!

Circulo de Bellas Artes is putting on a big time bash for the New Year. This is one of the best venues in Madrid and should attract a good mix of international partygoers. Also, if you know the Madrid bar scene and want to avoid crammed, tiny smoke filled bars this might be one of the best options.  For more info go here.

Looking for a low-key lounge in the Embajadores area to ring in the year then head on over to The Monkey. The 16 euros cover includes two cocktails, and isn’t such a hefty pricetag for a night out on New Years. For all the details click here.

Does funky dance music sound like your idea of fun for New Years? Then head over to Siroco for a head-bopping good time with DJs Bon and EM. The cover is 20 euros and includes two drinks. For more info go here.

If you’re looking to put on your best threads and spend New Years like a movie star, any of these classic Madrid clubs will suit your needs: La Riviera and Joy Eslava are offering open bars for 75 euros; and the always packed Pacha has a cover of 45 euros that get you two drinks for free!

Tickets for some of these parties can be found either on entradas.com and ticketmaster.es, but www.nocheviejamadrid.com offers discounts and a complete list of all the parties around Madrid.

Happy New Year from MAPMagazine!   We hope you have a wonderful 2010!!
