Museo de la Ciudad: Diego Gonzalez Ragel
Diego Gonzalez Ragel spent decades immortalizing Madrid in many ways: he was a sports photographer obsessed with horses and cars; the oficial photographer for the Banco de España from 1941 to 1951; a maker of portraits for some of Madrid´s most well known families, even a documenter of the Civil War. Now the Museo de la Ciudad is honoring this underrated professional by setting up a retrospective of his work that exceeds over a thousand photos of all kinds that characterize Madrid, its people and their evolution. The exhibition lasts until May 30th and the entrance is free, click here for schedules and information.
