Mel Gibson Stars in the Edge of Darkness

After a seven year acting hiatus Mel Gibson leaves the director’s seat and gets back on the screen with the thriller “Edge of Darkness” (Al Limite), which features him as a worn out and vengeful homicide detective searching for his daughter’s killer. It’s a role that Gibson should fit comfortably in, given that he’s one way or the other played the same part many times before, yet this doesn’t mean the film isn’t worth a try—in any case, it could be refreshing to see the veteran actor back in the action genre.
