Madrid’s summer festival of music, dance and movies is winding down so if your August beach plans fell trough and you are still residing in the Capital and need to get outside there are still a few events left on the VERANOS calendar. This weekend (8/14-8/16) will be the final performances of the Diavola Dance Theatre, a modern dance production which promises to be entertaining for every level of theatre enthusiast. What better way to conclude the festival than with a Flamenco production, from August 19th to August 23rd the presentation of Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Hoy will be on the Puerta del Angel stage to wrap up what has been a packed summer of performances. Also, the throw back outdoor movie presentation goes all the way through August 31st and is a great way to catch up on films you might have already missed on the big screen.
