The elections are intensifying the focus on an already urgent situation – that of immigration in Spain. Rajoy’s unveiling of his plan to deal with the issue earlier this month caused a stir due to its content as well as its ambiguity.

The immigrant community will speak for itself this Saturday at a rally in Sol at 19:00 bringing attention to a range of issues including legality, deportation and work. The rally and each candidate’s response will further shape the issue in the run up to the debates on March 3^rd.
