Los Amigos is another of Madrid’s backpacker friendly hostels, equipped solely with dormitories. Located mere steps from Puerta del Sol, Los Amigos Sol is about as central as it gets in this city. Not only do you have access to three different metro lines just a couple of blocks away from the hostel, but you can also pretty much walk to all of Madrid’s major tourist sites. Not to mention that you are on the doorstep of the Huertas and La Latina neighborhoods, both of which have an excellent nightlife thanks to the high concentration of bars and restaurants.

Los Amigos has reception and check in 24 hours a day, free Internet access, a common area with TV and DVD player, air conditioning, public kitchen and lockers. Breakfast and bed linens are included in the price of stay, and each dormitory has its own bathroom. Beds run from 17 to 19 euros per night.
