On Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th, for a much less language-intensive experience, try getting to the Matadero for a production by the Swiss company Zimmermann & de Perrot.  “Öper öpis” is a combination of dance and circus arts performed on a shifting stage that moves in reaction to the performers’ movements.  To complicate matters, as their blurb describes it, “any movement could put in danger the stability of the rest.”  It opened the London Mime Festival just a few weeks ago—a reviewer in the  Guardian complained that the show “lacks real warmth,” but says that it was nonetheless “hugely enjoyable,” and left her “open-mouthed in admiration.”  Shows are at 8 p.m. Metro: Legazpi.  Tickets 22 euros.  For more information click here.
