The United Nations has declared the year 2008, the year of the international potato. To increase awareness of the importance of the potato in developing countries, The Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria y Alimentaria (INIA) is sponsoring an exhibition from the 13th to the 23rd of October at Invernadero de los Bonsáis. The show will cover the history and evolution of the potato, and it’s importance throughout the world.
