La Escalera de Jacob: Yuri Gagarin Trio

The fantastically named Yuri Gagarin Trio take you on a trip through hybrid jazz Thursday April 29th at La Escalera de Jacob. Located in the middle of the Lavapies neighborhood, Jacob is well known for its deviations into personal live music, acting and poetry shows, so you can be sure it will be an appropriate and relaxed atmosphere.  Headed by composer and keyboardist Basilio Marti, the band experiments with funk and even drum and base, but their axis remains tightly knitted to jazz. The show begins at 22:00 p.m. with an 8 euro entrance fee.
