Kike Jambalaya Brings Oldies and Rockabilly to The Irish Rover
As the famous Louisiana dish that this artist has decided to use as his last name might suggest, Kike Jambalaya’s music is centered on classic rockabilly. Complete with a fifties hairdo and Elvis in Vegas style sideburns, this guy enjoys channeling the deep voiced ballads that dominated America in the forty’s and fifties: Cole Porter, Elvis Presley, The Righteous Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Charles and such. Playing for free Thursday May 20th in the Irish Rover from 23:15 p.m. and on, Kike will take you on a musical journey of American music when blues, swing and rockabilly where king.
