German Film Festival – Cine Palafox

Starting June 1^st and running through June 5^th will be the 12^th edition of Madrid’s Cine Aleman, a German film festival which takes place right here in Spain’s Capital. This year features seven full length films, including the premier of Nanga Parbat a recreation of a 1970 mountain climb in Kashmir. The director, Joseph Vilsmaier, will also be featured in a retrospective during the festival that will take a look at some of the most important films of his career. In addition to the full-length features there will be several short films, movies for children and Next Generation 2010 that will showcase the talents of many up and coming young directors.
