Flamenco in Madrid: Casa Patas

Get Thee to A Flamenco Tablao! > Book a table online

If you’re in Madrid and you still haven’t been to a flamenco club, its well worth your time and money to spend an evening at Casa Patas. As a professional dancer and student of flamenco, I can honestly say that Casa Patas is probably the most authentic and sophisticated flamenco tablao in the city.

Attracting Spain’s first class professional performers, it’s nothing short of a feast for the senses – flamenco aficionado or not.

Shows start late so my advice is to reserve a table for dinner beforehand and enjoy some home-cooked Spanish cuisine. The menu is a bit spendy so you might just want to have wine and tapas at the bar before the magic begins.

“Beauty”, “strength” and “passion” are a few of the adjectives I think of to describe the music, song and dance. You find yourself in an intimate, dark space – the closest you could get to experiencing a lively party in a gypsy cave in Andalusia.

Be sure to make reservations well ahead of time to get a table with a good view. Prices to see the show (about 1 hour and a half with a break) are 25 euros per person which includes a drink. It’s an experience you can’t miss and you will not forget.

Make a reservation at Casa Patas below:

Calle Cañizares,10
