Ennio Morricone was born in Rome in 1928 and studied with Goffredo Petrassi in the Conservatorio de Santa Cecilia. Over the years he has created many compositions for films, especially westerns. His soundtracks have made him an international star, collaborating with directors like Brian de Palma, Bernardo Bertolucci o and Pedro Almodóvar. He has been nominated five times for the Oscar, and he will be performing with the choral group Orfeón Donostiarra in Madrid on the 7th of November at Palacio Vistalegre.
