Small modern rooms make for a cozy stay at Hotel Plaza del Liceo. Located in the quiet Arturo Soria neighborhood, the hotel is a five minute drive to the IFEMA trade fair and rather close to the airport. Get on the metro and quickly be transported to all the city’s main tourist points. This charming hotel is a great stop for guests looking to travel the city by foot as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the metro is a short walking distance away.

There are twenty-three basic comfortable rooms and one suite that includes a double room, terrace and double bathroom. Lots of large windows line the rooms, which means tons of light. Boasting a four star rating, this is an ideal place to stay whether you are on a business trip or visiting the city for fun.

Buffet breakfast and a coffee bar on location will jump start any guest’s day and with all the necessary amenities to make a night here comfortable, you will be ready to explore the city away from your hotel all day. When you return, you will have a spacious room with air conditioning, heating, television and internet access waiting for you.

A 24 hour reception desk will provide late night towels and tourist information and the bar in the hotel will offer relief from a long day traveling the city.

The front of the hotel is a pretty pink with an inviting set of stairs leading up to the reception desk. Once you check in and get settled, ask the front desk about their shuttle service that, for an extra charge, will transport you to anywhere you need to go, including the Barajas International Airport and places where you can spend a day visiting.

Prices vary depending on how far you book a room and the days of the week. However, single and double rooms start 69 euros for a Friday night. A family room with a twin and extra bed starts at 89 euros and family room with a twin and two extra beds starts at 109 euros. Go to more Hotels.

The Silken Puerta America is one of Madrid’s most architecturally distinctive hotels. With an ultra modern façade painted orange, yellow, red, purple and blue and with words in different languages and alphabets, and a glass elevator that runs along the front exterior of the hotel, it’s hard to miss the Puerta de America Hotel when driving past it on the M30, one of Madrid’s major highways.
