Jenny Mellor is a bright and obedient seventeen year old who has put all her energy into getting accepted to Oxford University. But then she meets David Goldman, a cultured and slick dressed man twice her age, who is bent on showing her a more thrilling side of life. Soon enough Jenny’s doubts aren’t only about whether she wants to continue the studious path her father has laid down for her, but also whether David and his friends really are who they seem.
