Caixaforum Exhibition: Contemporary Turkish Art
The CaixaForum has organized a contemporary art exhibition that exposes works from today´s most prominent Turkish artists. For the general public Turkish art and culture is generally associated—in many cases on a very superficial level—with that which is Middle Eastern, bizarre and antique. This exhibition is a breath of fresh air, one that reveals contemporary Turkish art as influenced by Western culture, particularly French expressionism and American abstract painting. The exhibition lasts until May 30th and is open every day from 10 a.m. to 20:00 p.m.—entrance is free so go explore! Click here for more information.
