Best Sangria Bar in Madrid: Cuevas de Sesamo
If you are looking for a great night out that is truly a Spanish experience then Cuevas de Sesamo is the place for you. Located close to Plaza Santa Ana and next to a tourist shop, if you don’t know where this place is, you’ll never find it! This is a full on sangria bar with live piano music. One Jarra of sangria costs ten euro.
When you walk in off the street there are mirrors on boths sides of the hallway that leads you downstairs into the caves! The style is traditional spanish with red tablecloths, checkered floors, and paintings and quotes covering the walls. We recommend you go early on a weeknight so you are sure to get a table, but if the weekend is what you want be prepared for it to be packed and hard to find a seat.
