For those Mexican food snobs out there, we finally found a restaurant that is a “must,” La Mordida. With five restaurants around Madrid, the newest having opened on c/ Pio Baroja, close to the Retiro Park, it’s possible there’s one in your neighborhood and you don’t even know it! What makes this Mexican restaurant better than the other ones out there? It’s 100% Mexican, they do take-out, and the food is delicious. The Ensalada de Nopales will have you running around Madrid, trying to find the market where they bought their fresh vegetables; the Guacamole is original and tasty; the portions are large, and the Tequila, margarita and beer selection is impressive. And if that’s not enough, they have live music!
